01THE INTERVIEW
“We ferment for ninety hours and hope somebody notices. Now the chemistry is on the record before the gavel falls.”
— MARIANA QUINTERO, LA SUIZA ESTATE
Q.Tell us about the farm.
A Caldas, Colombia grower whose small lots are picked in multiple passes and dried slowly to protect what the altitude gives.
Q.What are you sending to the auction?
Geisha, washed process, grown at 1500–1500 m. Elegant rose and lychee aromatics with a silky, tea-like body. One of the cleanest Geisha cups from Caldas this season.
Q.Who do you hope wins it?
A roaster who will put the farm's name on the bag and come back next season — the point of selling on evidence is building relationships that outlast one harvest.
