Hi, I'm Carlos Madrid, a fourth-generation coffee producer and a third-generation specialty coffee producer in my family. Finca El Olingo is located in San Luis Planes at an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level, where we grow the Geisha variety.
What coffee are you submitting to this auction?
Natural Geisha.
Why did you choose this lot?
I chose this lot for its quality. The coffee was harvested in late April.
What do you want buyers to know about this coffee?
We took great care at every stage of processing to achieve the best possible quality in the coffees produced by the Madrid family. We would love to continue working with roasters year after year.
What do you expect from this auction?
I hope our coffees receive fair prices so we can continue improving our work and delivering excellent quality.
What do you hope your farm looks like in ten years?
I hope to cultivate the entire farm with different specialty coffee varieties.
